I was not awed by this work. I do not think I was meant to be. This is a work of agony and confusion. Work that is not meant to be critically examined. You either experience it the same way Rimbaud did or you did not experience it at all. The experience was wholly absent, yet I lament nothing of the time I spent with this work. For I sense that Rimbaud is for some, what Cioran is for me. A pharos of understanding, an acknowledgment of a shared mental dwelling, in a world that would be rather lonely otherwise!
