good sequel and lead up to the next volume

I enjoyed the first volume but I think the creators really got into a groove in this second volume. The dialogue is seamless and bantery, the art is great at expressing both the humor and the action, while the characters are pretty much nailed at this point, with some fun new ones added. The plot seems busier, which is not a bad thing but there some side threads and characters that doesn't get much development. Some nice twists, looking forward to volume 3.
