Review of 'The last adventure of Constance Verity' on 'Goodreads'

I get the idea behind this, but it just fell flat for me, and I couldn't get through the extended recountings of all the awesome adventures and accomplishments of this Mary Sue character. The humor didn't work, the premise didn't deliver. I bailed out about 3/4the of the way through.

Review of 'The last adventure of Constance Verity' on 'Goodreads'

A fun parody of James Bond.

Constance can't go through the day without saving the world or braking a cult or sinister organization.

It did get a bit old after a while but it does pay off eventually.

There is a good bit of philosophy involved and it gets a bit heavy handed towards the end.

Speaking of the end, I could definitely feel the influence of the game Portal.

Sometimes a bit clunky but allot of fun.
