There's more than a bit of inside baseball going on here, and I think that if a reader can ID the IRL counterparts to various characters it will either make this story better or worse -- depending. But it's a murder mystery at a Lovecraft convention. There's more than a bit of hostility towards the core of Lovecraft fandom, so stay away if that's going to upset you. Very fun overall.
