Age of War

Wow. What a book. Mr. Sullivan makes a point of writing the lion's share of an entire series before the first book is released, and it shows. Seeds planted in the first book, even the very first chapter, can get emotional payoffs later in the series.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, things come to a head in this entry. Relationships you didn't see before flourish. Plotlines evolve. And, sadly, some tales end. All I know is that I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, and look forward to digging into Age of Legend.

I don't know what to think. The adventure and battle filled thing kind of draws me in by making me want to find out what happens next. On the other hand I looked up "arrow" etymology and now feel even more stupid, because of the whole "a row" thing.
I was annoyed by Tesh having a diferent experience with Durean culture than Wraith did (Wraith had good-ending tales told, Tech - scary ones). Persephone wasn't much of a character in this one especially in the second half, and was not like her self by the end either. Then again, I can't think who was of those I like. Maybe Rowan.
