As a massive outbreak of supernatural Visitors baffles Scotland Yard and causes protests throughout London, Lockwood & Co. continue to demonstrate their effectiveness in exterminating spirits. Die Lockwood Reihe ist einfach perfekt für den Oktober. Ein bisschen gruselig, aber nicht so arg, dass ich nicht schlafen könnte. Dazu noch tolle Figuren und viel Witz.
Vor allem kann ich euch auch die Hörbücher ans Herz legen. Anna Thalbach ist eine fantastische Sprecherin!
This book made me enjoy the prior two much more in retrospect. It makes it unavoidably clear that Lucy is an unreliable narrator who doesn't describe people as they actually are, but as she (a teenage girl) perceives them. It makes some of the interplay between her and George in previous books more bearable, and telegraphs nicely that her relationship with Holly will eventually improve if she can get over herself.
This is also probably the spookiest book in the series!

The series keeps improving. This one contains some genuinely creepy bits. Well done.
