I was given the opportunity by RE Levy, the author of The Hawthorn King, to beta read an early draft of her book. I am not going to say too much due to it still being a work in process, but suffice it to say that I flew through this and was taken by the story and the characters. Though it needs some work, there is some excellent representation. I look forward to reading the finished product because I know it is going to be even better! And I certainly can't wait for the sequel to this duology - man, waiting a year for published sequels was hard enough idk if I can take this wait!
