Beth O'Leary crafts good characters and gripping plotlines

I knew what was going to happen in this book (more or less), and was still pleasantly surprised when it happened. Read the last 30% in one long evening session as it really picks up more and more the further into it you get.

Another great audiobook production, I do recommend listening to Beth O'Leary's books if you like audio. I wasn't sure how I felt about this book for the first half, I was like why are these women still with this guy, but it sets you up to feel one way until some clues are dropped and then you have to reconsider everything you were thinking.

4.5 stars

The plot twist was rather obvious to me but I loved this book nevertheless. In a year that is filled with bad reads for me, I finally found a bookish highlight.

I'm not quite sure if I recommend the audio book or not.. on the one hand it was super easy to distinguish the three povs, on the other hand not all of the narrators did an amazing job..

Overall, this is my favourite book by Beth O'Leary so far.
