Alone with You in the Ether

First read: (nov 19) I’d say 4.5 stars. Absolutely loved the novel! The characters felt real and were flawed just enough to hurt for them and because of their actions. There were some moments that felt too abstract where they could have been concrete, but I didn’t care enough about it to affect my reading of the novel. Heart wrenching in a real way. Tension! Heard some say this was too pretentious… just say you don’t read over a fifth grade reading level.

I love her big brain, hope Olivie Blake keeps writing for a long time, (also her aknowledgements are always a banger : "to you my fellow mortals with your gorgeous little fractures : your crazy is your magic.
