Review of 'The Unconsoled' on 'Goodreads'

That thing, where you don't quite fit with your surroundings and you don't understand why? Kazuo Ishiguro is the master at describing that, in this book more than any other.

Review of 'The Unconsoled' on 'Goodreads'

The stream of consciousness feeling reminded me of Woolf's To the Lighthouse, which I think helped me continue even during the difficult bits. The feelings that the book evokes are strong, but not always memorable. Ishiguro is a great talent.
