Kelly Regan Barnhill: When Women Were Dragons (2022, Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group)

Review of 'When Women Were Dragons' on 'Goodreads'

What a delight in dreaming and the joy of who can offer us support. Very glad I purposefully picked with one up (to expand my interest in dragons ;) )

Review of "Feminist's Guide to ADHD" on 'Goodreads'

2.5 - I wanted to finish it, but I didn't think this offered anything new to me, so I wouldn't recommend it. As other reviews noted, it didn't provide feminist take on restructure for equity etc, that I had hoped for from the title.
That said, it was useful to have all the resources and ideas (most of which I already practice) gathered in one place, with scientific backup and real stories.

Philip Ellis: We Could Be Heroes (2024, Penguin Publishing Group)

Review of 'We Could Be Heroes' on 'Goodreads'

3.5 - I was really pleased that this one had more depth and historical awareness than I expected, picking it up. In addition, the depiction of found family, friends' love, and internal journeys was really enjoyable. The love story was also solid. Good read!
