I had some glorious personal revelations towards the end. The concept that I literally was one of the people he liked to talk to, one of the middle class that he would watch falling. It was me the reader who had fallen and ended up reading the book.
For the rest it was so much talk about what is apparently nothing you get the feeling like you're missing out on the joke.
