Young Han dreams of someday soaring into space at the helm of his own starship and leaving his home, the gritty industrial planet Corellia, far behind. But as long as he's trapped in a life of poverty and crime--and under the thumb of the sinister Lady Proxima and her brutal street gang--reaching the distant stars seems impossible. I saw the movie and liked it, but it's been a while, so I am not sure what the potential expanded/added scenes are in the book (besides the epilogue). Regardless, the book was agreat, but I figure probably even better since it fills in with what I'm sure are added scenes of knowing what particularly Han, Q'ira and even L3 are thinking, feeling or doing. Particularly with L3 - pretty sure her last scenes in the book aren't in the movie, not even really hinted at (though I could be wrong), and they were great additions. But yep, the movie and the book are a great introduction to the Han and company before we really met them.

Oh, and with that epilogue - the Rogue One fan in me just loved it! :D
