If you're already a fan of Ms. Bishop, you've probably already read it. If not, this novel is a good fantasy read.

Finally, we meet Ari in Chapter Three, who is a witch and human, even though the leader on the back cover has the reader believing she is Fae. The novel revolves around her and her lot in life. A seventeen year old witch, whose mother and grandmother both died in the last two years. She alone is left to do the tasks that previously three had done. Quite by accident, the Fae take an interest in her. Suddenly, figures of legend are visiting her regularly, and she has no idea why.
Ms. Bishop continues to include animals in her novels. This one focuses mainly on horses. Several horses are not what they seem, and others are very special. While special horses are not unique in the fantasy world, Ms. Bishop brings a different aspect to them.
