Für mich ein schwieriger und sperriger Einstieg. Zu viele Figuren, zu viele Sprünge zwischen zu vielen Erzählsträngen. Dann war ich aber irgendwann drin. Das Ende hat ordentlich an Schwung aufgenommen und Kutscher umschifft einige billigen Tropes bezüglich Charly ganz gut, allerdings ist besonders ihr Ende doch sehr überstürzt. Dennoch ganz gut beendet und ich bin sehr gespannt, wie es weitergeht!
And another good entry in the Gereon Rath series. Difficult to write about them, they are not amazing, just decent, good entertainment. The setting from 1929 onward is quite interesting, because we see the fall of the Weimar republic and the rise of the Nazis. This one ends with, unrelated to the general story, some unrest caused by the SA. Gereon is not fond of them and it will be interesting to see how that goes.
