Review of 'Never knowing' on 'Goodreads'

What a really annoying book with really unlikeable characters. People have told me about this author for ages, but I just couldn't get into the book. The ending didn't shock me a bit. I guess I don't like books where people have to before Serial Killers. Besides, what police force has someone directly involved so closely in the situation do this kind of thing?
