3 stars

I'm a big fan of Alan Partridge and grabbed this book as soon as it came out. Unfortunately I might be too big a fan because this book falls a bit flat, seeing him the screen seems to work better for me. Some of the funny moments are in the book, but the awkwardness that is Alan doesn't come across here. To give it a second chance I loaned the audiobook from the library as it was read by the man himself, that worked a bit better but still wasn't really for me.

It gets 3 stars from me cos it is still funny and was great to get some more Alan Partridge.
