As curtain falls

...we are taken for one last trip around the suns.
Three short stories in one overarching, concerns of reformation, quality of life and the ethics of involvement. I'm happy this book exists. It was a calm and quiet send-off for the Stainless Steel who lives on and a final tip of a hat to Harry Harrison, the master who is no longer with us.
As I sit and reflect upon this, I remember that ironically, on the day of the graduation exam in English, Harry came to our country, Latvia, and gave a talk as well as has done book signing. It was so surreal. I should've skipped the exam, but mom mom didn't let me.
Up until today I didn't understand why did he come to Riga in 2008, but it turned out that his mother was Latvian who grew up in Saint Petersburg.
