This was somewhat bittersweet, I felt. A grand adventure for a young kid, but it has her making sacrifices I didn’t like. She pays a price that doesn’t seem fair to undo mistakes that weren’t hers. Felt like a real old-fashioned fairy tale, the kind with terrible things that happen.
