I liked Carrie's first person narrative in the first book but in the second instalment the writing is split between first and second person to allow scenes where Carrie's not there. I don't think the style between the two was different enough to work perfectly but fortunately the story was gripping enough for me not to notice.
Not predictable and it had me reaching for the next book by the end.
