It’s a bit of fun paired with some interesting tidbits about places you may have once heard of, or never even knew about. Humourless Historians (ref: other reviews here) may find it unworthy. But that’s their problem.
It's obviously not an atlas, but a collection of short stories of extinct countries. It's ideal for dipping in and out of it, but I wouldn't recommend reading it in one go. As countries go, there are only so many ways to found and lose a country.
