Another great story from one of my favorite fantasy writers. Though she overuses some phrases ("bitterly cold" is one that stuck out especially; perhaps because I live in the Midwest and it IS bitterly cold?) and the end gets a little fraught with overemotional cliche (sort of like that last statement), I still loved it. Again, great strong female lead who doesn't make me want to scream. I do hope she can also avoid the love triangle cliche, but we will see.
Neryn has the ability to see the Good People, and she lives in an era when this ability is enough to get her entire village killed. She is on the run for a semi-mythical land in the north, where she can finally acknowledge her gifts.
