This is a good little introduction and fact book for the Moon - it looks at a bit of history of studying it and going to it, the geology, a bit of it in art and poetry, how to look at it through binos, telescopes or just your eye. Basically a little bit of everything. And it's narrator is the author, and I rather like her. I listened to it, so I don't know how the pictures, if any, are, so can't help there. But listening to it, didn't feel like I was missing anything.
