Look, I know it's right there in the title, but damn. I did not expect this graphic novel to be SO dark. I've read a lot of Sanderson and feel like he usually keeps things pretty PG-13. But this is definitely rated R. Lots of blood. So much. The artwork is very gritty and gave me 90s underground comic vibes, in all the best ways. Overall, a pleasant surprise.
