It's too short.
Learning more about Ellie's life before the events of the game is always a plus. However, the first issues are not so much attention-grabbers. They are too basic and without any substance on them.
Issue #3 and especially #4 are the highlight of this volume. Action-packed and with meaningful events for Ellie. Who is Anna? Will we ever find out more about her?
It's a must-read for The Last of Us fans but it's also a bit disappointing. Here's hoping someday we get a much bigger adaption.
