I love the ship names.
This book was a bit more scheming and intrigue than the books before. I did get a bit lost at times, but that might be because I'm listening might have missed some bits. There was one part where I got confused about whether I find it believable or not (the ships were having a chat that reminded me heavily of chats by small groups of teenagers I've been a part of), but it kind of was explained in the book the minds of the ships were more challenged by the situation in this book than they had ever been before.
Not only did I get into the minds of ships some more, but I also got to discover more about the culture of Culture (as opposed to the Affront), as per usual, through the lens of someone who doesn't quite fit into Culture in this …
