Interesting book. Trying a 30 day challenge on the paleo diet, and this provides a structure on how to continue it, and also how to modify the diet for an endurance athlete. The science seems good, and with it the arguments in support of the change in eating habits. I'm not going to say it's right and orthodoxy are wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes more accepted.
