After an accident at the community pool and the return of a long-absent community member, the secret-filled lives of the residents of Sycamore Glen, North Carolina can no longer remain hidden from view.
The author told us a lot of things, but she didn't really show us those things. The character development was lacking, which was part of the problem. And the names were just distracting.
I wasn't sure
what I'd think when I started this book, with all the different character prospectives. Having finished it though, I'm pretty pleased with the story, and all the characters. It may take a bit for some people to get into, but once you do, you very well may not be able to put it down.
There were a couple twists I didn't see coming, and one of the situations didn't end up the way I wanted it to, but this was such a good book, and I'll be reading more from this author. :)
It was a bit slow for my tastes. There were a lot of characters and POVs and I feel like I never really got to know any of them on more than a superficial level.
Not a book I'd recommend.
