Review of "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
The found photographs might be the book's greatest strength (many of them are pretty remarkable and strange) but also its weakness in that working some of them into the story felt a little forced and like a moderately successful stylistic exercise. The plot, characters, and world building were pretty lightweight. Entertaining, but I had hoped for more from this.
