Practical Anarchism
4 stars
Not quite what I was expecting from the cover and the title, but what it was I valued a lot more--about how anarchism inheres in the everyday present, not a deferred future ideal but something we live in the here and now, in the cracks in the pavement where the weeds grow. Also appreciated the queer, Black, intersectional feminist and decolonial thought. Not giving five stars as I sometimes found the author's voice a bit annoying, and I preferred the parts where they stopped pretending not to be an academic and let themselves get in full philosophical flow.
