A bit slow-paced at times, and I'm not sure I quite understood the resolution.
SpoilerIt was fun that the authors at least addressed the problem presented by [b:La Cité des eaux mouvantes|736750|La Cité des eaux mouvantes (Valérian, #1)|Pierre Christin|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1177858555s/736750.jpg|722929]: that the world was going to be destroyed by a nuclear war in 1986. So in 1984-85, with their past catching up to them, they had to work out a way around that.
