Killers hiding in plain sight. Small-town secrets. A girl who knows too much. From the Amazon Charts bestselling author of Unspeakable Things and Bloodline comes a nerve-twisting novel inspired by a shocking true crime.

SO much to unpack here. This book is raw and gritty. In a small town full of secrets and broken people, Heather is a young girl straddling that space between childhood and adulthood. Her innocence is slowly being shattered as she becomes aware of what is going on in the world around her. The things she learns are tragic, numbing, terrifying. It's the story of being a woman.

Extremely well written, with well-developed characters, and done in such a way that you know exactly what is happening without reading the gory details.
