Review of 'The twenty-year death' on 'Goodreads'

I have trouble understanding how to rate or interpret this book. I enjoyed reading it, but I get the impression that it is a "genre book" and that there might be many almost identical books from this "noir"ish publisher. I enjoy Raymond Chandler and noir detective fiction in general, so I guess I will try a few more contemporary noir mysteries to gauge their "repetitiveness index".
