Second time reading this book after many many years. I quite like the plot but find it frustrating that Frankenstein had the guts to disgrace his own creation, and not understand the impact of his own handiwork. So I just detest that character.
The book boasts of many monologues which i find odd given it rarely happens in real life, but the descriptions are enjoyable, how the monster was looking for a place where to belong, the life he had led, how much he had learned.
It's a classic of course, and a moral about empathy embedded in it.
