A cute coming of age story.

It's a cute book. Not my favorite, but it was a good read. I liked that the main character was a tomboy, but there were moments the guys were really quite mean to her and she just took it like a champ 😂 and I couldn't relate to that at all. But I guess if you grow up only around guys then the mentality around certain situations would be different.

Overall, I found the characters endearing and it's a sweet coming of age romance from the perspective of a girl who grew up as a tomboy.

None

I'm a total sucker for girl next door novels, so I'm already a bit biased. There were a good number of melty moments, though I could always do with more. I liked that West delved into Charlie and Braden's characters, instead of skipping over their traits and trying to make the reader love them for no reason.
