Peter Petermann reviewed Elite: nemorensis by Simon Spurrier (Elite dangerous)
Review of 'Elite' on 'Goodreads'
2 stars
I am quite disappointed.
This book (goodreads description sais 192 pages while it had only 82 on the google play reading app on my Nexus 7, which has about book size) has several problems:
The author seems to believe too much in Sex sells, which might be true, if this wasn't a book belonging to a sci-fi game. As such I would have appreciated if those 82 pages would have had any other relation to the game than dropping a few replaceable names within an fantasy story that could have been told in any world.
The only reason I'm giving this two stars is that I enjoyed reading out loud the sometimes quite complex constructs of language that the author managed to create.
