Another excellent collection. In this volume, Azzarello takes us back to some of the characters we have been exploring. The collection is a set of stories each focused on a character in the series. In one, Dizzy finds out there is a price for her new life when she tries go back home. We get a story of Lone and Graves, and some others. Each one is very good with a blend of the high level conspiracy and the low level street stories we have come to enjoy from this series. And then, there is that revelation at the end that I am not going to spoil. Overall, the series continues to be strong, and I am looking forward to the next volume.

This is one of the best story arcs in the series so far. It takes some very good twists, and it goes a bit deeper into Agent Graves and whatever group he may be working for. In this story Agent Graves gives a young ghetto kid the famous suitcase and the "chance" to meet the father he never really knew. Take it from there. This is definitely a series to continue reading, and it is becoming one of my all time favorites. Now I need go find the next volume.

A new set of stories where Agent Graves gives the briefcase to people who need justice. However, now we are also getting hints of who Agent Graves may be working for. In between the stories of the gambler and the waitress, we get also stories that begin to hint how deep things go. It really reminds me of the conspiracies of The X-Files and the character of the Cigarette-Smoking Man. I did find the story of the diner waitress particularly moving, and this is a strength in the series. You can always be moved by at least one tale. Others are thrilling, and others leave you wanting more. Maybe that is why I only gave it four stars, because at the end, I do want to find out more than just "to be continued." I will tell you this: the series is clearly getting better. And once you start this, …

Not perfect, but this is definitely the beginning of a great series. I did have a bit of an issue with Dizzy's story, as it seemed a bit slow at times (as in just get on with it kind of feel). However, it was still worth reading. The second story does have a nice little twist I will not reveal to get people to read it. I love the premise of this book: a stranger shows up with a suitcase, including a gun and 100 bullets and evidence of those who wronged you. You can carry out your revenge, get justice, and you will be scot-free. It is a tempting idea: if you had this opportunity, would you take it? And how would you use it? I can see this turning into some party game or such. That aside, the premise is very good. This volume definitely makes you want …
