I enjoyed it. Maybe it's a bit too clean, with a bit of smoke and mirrors to make everything be timed "just so" and there having to be some loss and sacrifice but not too much and the ending being as uplifting as it is, but I don't mind. As a comparatively light action-y sci-fi read, this book is an excellent ending to the trilogy.

excellent finale to the series, thoroughly enjoy d it
the final volume had the same formula as the last two and should have been another amazing novel, but somehow came out flat. the story has tremendous scope, weaving many threads together. the tech seemed like a hoge-poge of new (neural micromachines) and old (mesh wifi networking). more time was spent on character development, but im not sure the story deserved 600 pages. if you're interested in the series, by all means read the first book.
Books like this, stories like this, make me very excited about the future. Sure, things can get rough. Very, very rough, perhaps. But they'll also get BETTER. Transhumanism for the win.
