Sadly what should have been an exciting culmination of a critical adversary turn out to be a disappointment. Almost every Longmire book I have read 14+ has been a 4+ (by my count). This one was simply mediocre. The sarcasm was sparse, key characters were absent and the setting was 'lackluster'.
