I read this after Kill Switch which I think was a good pairing. The formation of the Senate and the Electoral College have a lot in common. However, like Kill Switch, this felt like it could've been a long essay and gotten the point across. It was in a weird in between place that didn't work well for me. This book mentions another book called Every Vote Equal which is apparently a 1000 page exhaustive work on why we should ditch the Electoral College. So I'm like, okay, is this book like the abridged version? If so, it still feels a little too wordy, too long, for the points it makes.
But, I give it 3 stars because the information I gathered was helpful. I didn't take a ton of notes because I often felt like a point had been made multiple times already. But the points that were made …

It's also a far less partisan book than Kill Switch, which I appreciated.
