The Clean House and Other Plays

I love Sarah Ruhl!! Eurydice and The Vibrator Play are two of my favorite all time plays. This collection is nice to read. I often find I don't like to read plays even though I studied theatre (or maybe especially because I studied theatre) because I know they'd be so much better seen than read. Ruhl's plays, however, are a delight to read because of the way she writes her stage directions. They make reading the play its own experience set apart from going to see it.
