Two stars because at least it was readable, but that’s about the only good thing I can say about it. Aside from our core crew, every character was unlikable. Jessica acted and spoke uncharacteristically. The ending was unsatisfying.
A rather mediocre book, but great as a fast read in between other books.
It still does not feel like a real Jessica Fletcher story—somehow the way she sometimes moves or talks does not necessarily strike me as how she was in the tv show.
It’s also slightly odd, that her friends keep joining her away from Cabot Cove.
