A very well written Lanyon reminiscent of the author's earlier works, specifically Fatal Shadows. The strength of this book lies in the mystery surrounding Kyle's father and the famous Virgin in Pastel. Unfortunately, the romance fell short of convincing for me and luckily took the back burner here. Otherwise, expect a well written murder mystery.
