I had read the series of books by this author starting with NPC's (I listened with my younger son who is a sci-fi/fantasy fan and computer games fan). That series was great fun, and this book was great, also. The characters all have likable aspects but also very disturbing ones! The comradery and unassailable loyalty is enough to make them all fabulous and likable characters! I know that he has written other books, and when I find time and money they are on my list!
