The Knight at Dawn

I just can't do this series. I thought I'd try another book, but Annie is just too whiny for me. More needs to happen than looking at a picture in a book then getting captured, then going back home. At least I can say I tried.

My son and I spent about a week reading this book. The chapters are short. We read one or two every night before bed, depending on how much time there is. My son really enjoyed this story as well. He is ready to read the next one, even though he said they read it in school, he wants us to read it at home, too.
