Meh. The characters were so flat and predictable, and the story was just so impossible. The author could have made it believable, but he didn't pull it off for me. I had the 'dramatic twist' figured out fairly early on, but I read the whole thing to be fair, because the writing is good. I did find myself skimming toward the end just to find out what happened already, and that's usually a mark of an author not building the right kind of suspense- ie the kind I want to skip!
