Mollarom reviewed The little sleep by Paul Tremblay
Review of 'The little sleep' on 'Goodreads'

Features an annoyingly archetypical protagonist with a malady that turns ordinary tasks into suspenseful events. Unfortunately, when this happens, the suspense is limited only to that character. When the protagonist is in a life or death situation late in the tale, it's told with seemingly minute by minute precision, as if anything could happen. Little does, however, and it left me thinking that several chapters could have been edited down instead of belaboring the situation and boring the reader with detail just because the character is stressed. That, along with the fact that he seems trapped in permanent Bogart mode, makes this a title I can't recommend to anyone.
