Incredible! Thomas Friedman gives a personal, gripping, and informative account of his time in Lebanon and Israel. A must read for anyone interested in the Middle East, especially the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

I read this book before knowing much about Palestine, Orientalism or Thomas Friedman. I thought it was alright at the time. Now I don't. What you can get out of it needs to be carefully parsed from the abounding nonsense.
