Review of 'The tragedy of Arthur by William Shakespeare' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
The 'novel' only takes up the first 3/4 of the book. To be precise, it's the introduction to a new-found play by Shakespeare, explaining that the play in question is a blatant forgery. What's left over is the play itself - a fictional rendering of a forgery of a heretofore undiscovered Shakespeare play. Leaving us to decide how well Phillips can fake Shakespeare.
