Not your typical Zombie series. The beginning of this series and the focus on the a troubled young teenager kept me interested. And the number of twists and turns presented when they appeared were actually surprising to me, something I did not anticipate but really enjoyed. I found the entire series of books completely engrossing and cannot wait to read more. If you have tired of the Zombie genre and do not believe there is anything different, you should read this series.
